Jennifer Taranto is the artist behind the beautiful cover image of Mary Magdalene. Jennifer was born in Melbourne in 1957 and first discovered her passion for painting at the tender age of eight.
Over the past 40 years Jennifer has had a long successful career as an artist, including creating illustrations for screen printing; illustrating children’s and botanical books; and exhibiting her work at numerous solo shows across Australia.
Working in all mediums, Jennifer’s subject matter ranges from botanical to landscape, and abstract to illustration (of Australian Wildlife). She also designs for clothing and commercial products.
